These words remind us some of life’s best moments happen when we come together. Co•Lab is a space created for exactly this: a place to gather, inspire, create, celebrate, discover, and connect with the people and ideas which make our community vibrant.

Co•Lab Lounge is designed to be whatever the moment calls for—a lively celebration, an intimate performance, a creative workshop, a meaningful conversation, or simply a place to enjoy a glass of wine with good company. Throw your next gathering at Co•Lab Lounge! We are a boutique event space designed to make gathering easy, personal, and memorable.
Our 1,300-square-foot art gallery, wine bar, and event space can be transformed for parties, luncheons, work functions, workshops, concerts, intimate celebrations, and intentional gatherings of all kinds.
We offer consulting and preferred vendors to provide the support and amenities you need to bring your vision to life. Our service menu is à la carte, so you can curate an experience that feels uniquely yours. During a complimentary consultation, we’ll explore the possibilities together and help you build the right experience for your gathering.
About Us
Jen and Erika are no strangers to South Padre Island. For Erika, a Buffalo native with family roots in the Rio Grande Valley, the island has been a cherished part of her life since childhood. Jen’s connection to South Padre Island grew over years of visiting and performing in the area, eventually inspiring her to make the island home after a successful 20-year career as a freelance cellist in Austin, Texas. Their shared appreciation for the island-and their deep ties to the people and culture of the RGV-helped lay the foundation for Co•Lab Lounge.
After a satisfying career in the wellness industry as a massage therapist and business owner, Erika spent her recent years pursuing her passion for wine through education and travel. Fostering her entrepreneurial spirit, she plans to open Crush Wine Pad within Co•Lab Lounge, creating opportunities for the RGV community to explore, appreciate, and celebrate wine together.
